It is made up of 10 schools which collect children from different parts of
Sassari: historical centre (San Donato, Via Satta and Santa Maria) and new
suburbs (Caniga, Bancali and La Landrigga).The part of the town where our school
is located records a high unemployment rate, mainly among women and young people.
The whole school is attended by 728 pupils (231 in the nursery school and 383
in the primary school and 114 in the secondary low school), with a age range
from 3 to 14. In the school there are a 10% of children with learning
difficulties and 25 disabled children: a 15% percentage of the children
attending our school are at risk of social exclusion.

A certain percentage of students come from monoparental families with financial
